Beginning of teacher training in Slovenia

On 13th January 2020, Humanitas started with training for teachers who will take part in the BEST activity in the school year 2020/2021. Due to epidemic, the training took place online. Ten teachers from nine different Slovenian schools participated in the training. Representatives from Humanitas carried out introductory activity with photos on the topic of solidarity and then presented BEST project and its history. A photography expert who joined the training presented, in an interactive way, the basics on how to understand and analyse the photos and how to read the relation between the photo and the text. Finally, a short workshop on how to use photos to deconstruct stereotypes was presented by Humanitas. Two more trainings will take place in the next two weeks where workshops to be carried out in school will be explained more in detail.
