BEST students as exhibition peer guides

In Rijeka, Croatia, in the previous month our BEST photo exhibition was set up and available for the public to see in the Exportdrvo hall. During that period we tested the method of peer guiding through the exhibition with students participating in BEST activities leading students from other schools through the topics and the photos in a guided discussion. We see this as an opportunity for students to share their knowledge, discuss values and difficult GCE topics and also to practice their presentation skills and overall improve their civic and social competencies. The piloting was quite successful both with primary and secondary schools and our plan is to have our BEST traveling exhibition visit different other cities and venues till the end of the year! Many thanks to our student guides from Primary school ‘Eugen Kumičić’ and  Rijeka's First Croatian High School and their visitors from Primary school Podmurvice and the Mijo Mirković School of Economics! The exhibition was supported by the French Embassy in Croatia and the City of Rijeka.
