Community Actions! Prato - Italy

"Parallel to the realization of the workshops with the students, we organized periodic

monitoring meetings with the teachers, during these meetings we deepened the idea

of the community project: various proposals emerged from the teachers (some more

linked to the city area, unfortunately they were not feasible due to the COVID 19

limitations) that we defined together and that the teachers shared with their students

in order for the students themselves to decide what was the footprint they wanted to

give to this community action. During this journey, teachers and students showed a

desire to put the city schools in greater contact to promote the knowledge and access

of the students themselves and the idea of the community project fits into this aim: to

create in every school a physical space dedicated to encouraging communication".
