CONFERENCE ON GLOBAL EDUCATION - Ljubljana- Novembre, 9th 2021

The conference was an opportunity to foster an interesting exchange of good practices and to actively contribute to the construction of the European solidarity, which necessarily passes through the education and school systems.

During the workshop activities, we reflected on the pivotal role that schools play in relation to global citizenship education. The debate, which revealed expectations and needs, proved to be an excellent tool for setting the work that in the months to come educators and teachers must continue to do in their territories and communities in order to accomplish the goals posed by the European agenda.

"Participating in a project of such huge importance and being present at an international conference certainly marks a moment of absolute growth for the territories involved, which, living their daily lives in rural contexts or lacking numerous opportunities, have been able to compare themselves with other European experiences and systems, thus feeling themselves to be global actors of local change".
