Exchange of good practice due to the Conference in Ljubljana

Although few weeks have already passed since the conference took place the memories are still alive. The sense of community was built, different ideas and experience were exchanged, and a lot of materials to use in classroom were presented and given to the participants. All this will help teachers integrate and introduce global education issues in their classes and equip students with knowledge, better understanding of global topics and with active citizenship skills.
According to the participants, very positive atmosphere at the conference helped them initiate collaboration with teachers from other countries and develop a feeling of being part of a joint community of teachers, who try to introduce global education to their classes and enhance citizenship values and awareness of global challenges among students.
The conference also gave the participating teachers power and motivation to continue integrating solidarity and other values into their work with students. The conference provided them with insight into work and experience of other countries, problems and challenges they face, and different ways of overcoming barriers in their work as a global education teacher in different countries.
The conference also proved to be a great opportunity for teachers to connect and exchange contacts. They want to maintain newly built relations and interact in the future, cooperate during the project and in the future.
