Landscape day of solidarity

International Human Solidarity Day is a day to celebrate our unity in diversity, is the message that UN posted to mark this day. It is stated that is also a day to raise public awareness of the importance of solidarity.

The UN General Assembly, on 22 December 2005 identified solidarity as one of the fundamental and universal values that should underlie relations between peoples in the Twenty-first century, and in that regard decided to proclaim 20 December of each year International Human Solidarity Day.

As the basic idea of the project Let's play fraternity card is essencialy that - working on global issues with students and sending postcards with messages of solidarity to their local communities, in all four european countries that the project takes place!

The solidarity, as a unity between people is a value that combines all the values around us. Without solidarity, the European Union’s fundamental values, respect for human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law wouldn’t be possible.

Developing solitarity and fraternity among each other is a fundation for a respect that is a fundation for an equality and equity in the world. So, Let's play fraternity card! We are looking forward to 2019 - new edition of our project that is based on solidarity!
