International Human Solidarity Day - What is solidarity?

In 2006, the UN General Assembly proclaimed December 20th as the International Human Solidarity Day due to the fact that "in the context of globalization and the challenge of growing inequality, strengthening of international solidarity is indispensable" (https://www.un.org/en/observances/human-solidarity-day). 2020 has maybe more than previous years shown us the importance of solidarity in our daily lives!
To help teachers, students and educators understand and start discussing solidarity in their work, the Centre for Peace Studies launched a new short animation on defining the concept. With english subtitles, we hope it will also serve BEST and other teachers in all partner countries!
