Presentation of the BEST project in the framework of the conference Civil society dialogue on the fundamental rights of migrants and refugees in Europe

On 20, 21 and 22 October 2022, the European meeting “Dialogue of civil society on the fundamental rights of migrants and refugees in Europe” was held in Toledo, Spain, organized by MPDL, the Spanish League of Education and Solidar, among others. Relevant organizations in the field of migration and asylum, international organizations, public administrations, activists, media and members of the academy both at Spanish and European level all participated in the meeting.

The meeting sought to generate an open space, aimed at raising recommendations from civil society on migration policies and on the reception of migrants and applicants for international protection, defend the European Charter of Fundamental Rights in migration processes in Europe and promote the integration of migrants and refugees into European societies.

The BEST project participated in the October 22 panel titled "Discrimination and hate speech" where we had the opportunity to present the project methodology as a tool to work for tolerance, solidarity and non-discrimination with groups of children, girls and young people, as well as adults.
