After one year of uncertainties, home schooling, quarantines and wearing masks in classes the situation in Slovenian schools is getting back to normal. Now children in some Slovenian regions are on holidays, while the rest of them were enjoying their days off one week ago. Meanwhile, their teachers are preparing for the project activities in their classes after they participated in the training in the field of photo analyses and writing messages. They have already received the toolkits, photos and postcards and are looking forward to carrying out the activities with their pupils and students.

Children and youth are also looking forward to taking part in Europe-wide campaign and sending postcards with their messages to randomly selected members of their communities in parallel with their peers from Italy, France, Spain, Croatia and Poland. Some schools are also eager to send postcards and messages internationally – not only to schools that are taking part in the project, but also to schools in Germany and Austria within their German classes or to Serbian and Macedonian schools, as one of the schools is hosting students from these two countries now.

One of the schools also decided to do one community action in March. They would like to create paper and cartoon flowers, write solidarity messages on them and distribute these flowers in the local community. This will happen in parallel with other activities in schools and sending postcards on 21st March.
